- Making a Booking
Bookings may be made by telephone or online Booking Form. A booking is not considered confirmed until your deposit has been paid and we have acknowledged that by email or letter. - Green Fees
Our green fees are as displayed on the Club’s website. The Club reserves the right to amend its fees at any time. Please note that the discounted rates for bookings of groups of 8 or more will not apply should fewer than 8 players arrive to play on the day. Any reductions in green fees, special offers or discounts subsequently introduced will not apply to previously confirmed bookings. - Deposit
To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of green fees & hire charges is required. Arran has a typical west of Scotland climate and occasionally bad weather can occur, even in summer. This may affect travel by ferry to and from the island and also the playability of the course. Visitors are strongly advised to take out suitable travel insurance to cover such situations. - Payment of Balance
Payment in full for all green fees and hire charges must be made before commencing your round. - Buggies
Any buggies you have requested for hire will be reserved for you. As a small club, our buggy numbers are limited and we apologise in advance if for reasons outside our control a buggy or buggies are unavailable. Deposits paid for any such buggies will be refunded. Pull trollies are also available for hire.
We require each buggy hirer to accept our hire conditions and sign a disclaimer before taking control of the buggy. Regrettably due to past incidents of malicious damage, we require the balance of payment of buggy hire fees to be made by credit or debit card. The Club reserves the right to charge for any such damage should it occur. - Clubhouse
During the summer the clubhouse is normally open from 12 noon. Outside of the summer months opening hours vary. Please check opening hours for the date of your visit when booking to avoid disappointment. - Catering
Catering may be pre-ordered in advance and must be paid for in full at the time of booking. The clubhouse offers a soup and sandwich menu, however larger groups may not be able to be catered for unless the Club has been given advance notice. - Course Etiquette
The starter’s box is manned from 8am in the summer. Outside of the summer months opening hours vary, please check when booking.
Please report to the starter before commencing your round. The starter will endeavour to give you access to the first tee at the booked time, however the starter reserves absolute discretion over the management of the course and tee-off times on the day.
It is Club policy that there be strictly no five balls.
Visitors should be prepared show a current handicap certificate if requested. - Insurance
Please note that the Club does not carry insurance that covers visitors.
