Welcome to Whiting Bay GC
We love to see visiting golfers enjoy our course and we are happy to see so many familiar faces return year on year. If this is your first visit hopefully you too will become one of our ‘regulars’. It would help us greatly as a club if you would bear in mind and adhere to the following guidelines. If after your game there is something you are not happy about please let us know so that we can try and put things right.
Booking your Game
It’s easy. Go online at this link – WBGC Visitor Booking – to book your game. If you hold an Arran Golf Pass, e-mail the club on firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your tee off time. Make sure your pass is signed and with you when you turn up to play. We can accommodate ‘turn up and play’ visitors but cannot guarantee a tee off time without a prior booking. If online booking or e-mail is not practicable you would be well advised to book by telephoning on 01770 700487.
Arrival at the Course
Please report to the starters office or the clubhouse on arrival. If neither is open please ensure any green fees due are paid by using the honesty box in the clubhouse corridor
We do have a limited number of buggies for hire by visiting golfers provided ground conditions are suitable. Please ensure availability by booking your buggy in advance by email – email@example.com – or telephone 01770 700487
Midweek Special Buggy Deal
From Monday to Friday 2 golfers can play 18 holes with a buggy for the special discounted rate of £65. This must be booked in advance by email – firstname.lastname@example.org – or telephone 01770 700487. If you have trouble reaching us try this link to our Facebook/Messenger page where you can message us.
Yellow Tees for Casual Play
Unfortunately we are not blessed with acreage here at WBGC and our medal tees are reserved for club competition play. Please play from the forward tees only.
No Dogs on the Course
Unfortunately the care and maintenance of our course involves the use of pesticides and chemicals, may of which can be harmful to dogs. To ensure their safety and your peace of mind we do not allow dogs on the course
Please ensure no litter is left anywhere other than in the litter bins provided throughout the course.
