Sunday 18th February – Lamlash Friendly
15 played in the latest of our winter series of friendly matches with Lamlash GC. WBGC member Sean Higgins, being a resident of Lamlash, gallantly offered to play for Lamlash thereby balancing out the numbers. An enjoyable morning’s golf resulted in a close victory to the home club as Whiting Bay prevailed by 2-1
In the individual Stableford competition, Whiting Bay members dominated with Douglas Auld pipping temporary Lamlash member Sean Higgins by one point.
