18 played on a breezy, grey morning that was cold for March let alone the end of June. Golfing conditions were fine though with the greens putting straight and true and as fast as many of us could remember. A score around par figures was quite an achievement and net par itself was enough to give Robbie McNaught the trophy, pipping Stan Rainey on a countback.
