Please note an important amendment to the January fixtures previously published. The 9 hole New Year Cross Country will take place on the 2nd (SECOND)of January and not the 1st. As always however, the clubhouse will be open on 1st January – 2pm to 8pm – for the traditional N’erday get together.
The December round of the Winter Cup, rained off on 8th December, will now be played on Sunday 15th December. Usual arrangements – 1 draw at 10am.
Sunday 1st December v Machrie at Shiskine
A last minute change in circumstances led to what would have been the February fixture being brought forward and reduced to 12 holes due to the shortening December days. Up against a strong Machrie side WBGC halved 2 games but slipped to narrow defeats in the 2 remaining games to lose the match by a margin of 3-1.
