The Lamlash friendly will not take place. Instead there will be an informal sweep with one draw at 10am, format to be decided on the day, but probably a multi coloured Texas Medalford.
The clubhouse will be open at 4pm for members, guests and friends to watch the rugby on the telly.
Sunday 26th January – Yellow Tees Stableford
Despite fairly heavy rain around breakfast time 6 golfers showed remarkable faith in the BBC forecast and were rewarded with a dry round. Despite the recent weather Stewart and Corey have managed to get a fair bit of work done on the greens and that was reflected in decent scoring with 33 points the lowest score returned.

Sunday 19th January – Yellow Tees Sweep
12 played on a beautiful morning for golf and with the course benefitting from a few days of dry weather good scoring was much in evidence. Since play was from the yellow tees and ‘non counting’ there was no CSS but all scores returned were in the net 60s. That said, the midweek regulars, enjoying official handicaps rather than winter ones, took full advantage of their restored shots to take the top 6 spots. Dougie Auld returned a spectacular net 57 to win by 2 shots.
