Wednesday 23^rd September – The Bannatyne Cup

14 played and enjoyed superb golfing conditions although fading autumn light  reduced the number of players competing in the evening. CSS stayed at 63, academic for Gus MacLeod really as he carded a superb net 57 to win by 8 shots from a clutch of players on 65.

Sunday 20^th September – The Richard Parfitt Stableford

10 played on yet another beautiful morning for golf. Just back from a successful golfing trip to some classic courses on the mainland, John Pennycott brought his fine form back with him to win by 1 point from Stan Rainey.

4th Alan Kay (19) – 32

CSS stayed at 63/36 points and the only 2 of the day was scored by Gavin Mainds at the 4th.

Wednesday 16th September – The Cancer Relief Stableford

A decent field of 19 turned out for the latest of our charity opens held over, for obvious reasons, from the earlier part of the season. Ryan Armstrong continued his good form to win on 39 points pipping Sandy Pringle on a back 9 countback.

Sunday 13^th September – The Hamilton Salver

12 played and endured a blustery morning and a course very wet underfoot. Thankfully the rain stayed away but even so Kevin Jackson’s winning score of 38 points was quite an achievement standing the conditions.
