Saturday 25th July – The Ballantyne Cup
Part 1 of our “Not quite the Open” weekend got off to a flying start with fine weather and a good field of 29 players for one of our oldest trophies, The Ballantyne Cup dating from 1909. Scoring was good with the top 6 players beating par and CSS came down to 62. David Blair returned a fine score of 57 that gave him a 4 stroke cushion over second placed Alan Foggo.

2nd Alan Foggo (5) – 61 acb and lowest gross
3rd Craig Buchanan (13) – 61 acb
4th Scott Murray ( 10) – 61 acb
Twos were returned as follows; Ryan Armstrong at the 2nd and the 16th, Jamie Macpherson at the 4th and the 9th and Graeme Mack at the 16th.
