This notice will confirm what we have all known for some time. Publication of the decision was held off in the hope we might be able to salvage what is after all the big day of our year but it proved to be a forlorn hope. We will try and hold some kind of special event over the weekend the Open would have taken place but much will depend on the then situation regarding the opening of clubhouses etc.
