The Tam Young Tankard
Well here we are. Autumn again and we’ll be starting the Tam Young Tankard on Wednesday 4th October. All pretty much as before and quite informal but with a slight tweaking of the handicap provisions. Scottish Golf/WHS handicaps will apply but winning scores in excess of 36 points will attract a handicap adjustment – ONE STROKE DOWNWARDS. That adjustment will last throughout the winter and will be applied to any handicap otherwise adjusted by Scottish Golf.
