A wonderful turnout of 40 players, from all over Arran and beyond, enjoyed a fine day’s golf in memory of Wolfi and many took advantage of the fine conditions to post some very impressive scores.

4th Allan MacLeod (11) – 39

Our thanks go to Gege and the family for their generous support of the day and to all who participated. The numbers speak volumes for the regard and affection in which Wolfi was held.
Heavy morning rain threatened this year’s Bannatyne but by late afternoon conditions had improved although the evening players had a wet course to play on. Sandy Pringle was undeterred however and returned a level par net 63 to pip Game Crichton on a countback and retain the trophy he won so emphatically last year. 19 played in and Nicol Auld returned the lowest gross score of 69.
1st Sandy Pringle (14) – 63 acb
2nd Graeme Crichton (13) – 63
3rd Neil Lucas (14) – 64 acb

David Morrison scored the only 2 of the day at the 17th.
