12 played and found the course playing its full length. Admittedly not long to start with but our collection of long par 3s seemed to be even longer on a dreich autumn morning and on the whole scoring reflected that with only Gus MacLeod beating par.

The AGA Winter League campaign got off to a cold and blustery start at Machrie Bay GC where Whiting Bay and Brodick shared the spoils in a hard fought draw.
